Is it just me, or do we have a hard time being thankful for what we've got? I would really love to know what you think on this one. Most of the people you meet, would you say their "thankful people" or "wish I had people"? And what can we do about it?

I am voting for "wish I had" people. After writing these comments though, I realize that either I think that most people are not like me...and are totally off; or I think that most people have a somewhat "me first" attitude. I guess if I look in the mirror, I see a guy who doesn't have a very good outlook on the human race. Why do I think that I am such a good person, better than everybody else?
I definitely think being thankful is a big deal. I usually thank God for everything right before bed, but I have a hard time keeping a thankful heart consistently throughout the day. I do listen to KLove a lot and that seems to help. I've been really trying the last few years to surround myself with thankful, kind hearted people and I really think that has made a difference. But I think we all have times when we have the "wish I had attitude" and I think it's fairly normal. As long as you keep it in check and have more gratefulness than want-ness.
